I often create photographic works that engage thematically and physically with my time-based and sculptural practice. I gravitate toward close observation of human interaction with the environment, drawing relationships between active states of being and the remnants constantly left behind while threading meaning from my own life through these dynamics. By crafting images and sound pieces through a mixture of analog and digital processes, I allow time to permeate the work, both literally in the nature of these as time-based works and in the play between fast and slow methods of making.

I have just graduated with a BFA in studio art from Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at WashU in St. Louis. I grew up spending time in and around New England marshes, mountains, forests, and the ocean, especially along different parts of the coast spanning Massachusetts and Maine. These places and experiences guide my thinking and inspiration. I find solace in the natural world and in community.
